Lecture: Development of Membership in a Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Rio de Janeiro Maracanã hosted, on August 14, 2018, a lecture presented by Rotarian Eduardo Antonio Vasco de Paula.
Rotarian Eduardo delivered the lecture entitled “Development of Membership in a Rotary Club”. During the presentation, he emphasized the importance of relationships within clubs and the need to communicate clearly to people what Rotary is and what Rotary Clubs do.
Statistical data related to the evolution of club membership in Brazil and worldwide were presented, in addition to guidance on how a Rotarian should act in order to become a good sponsor.
District Governors Henrique Ferreira and Sebastião Porto actively participated in the discussion, along with other Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Rio de Janeiro Maracanã and members from other clubs.
It was a very productive evening, with relevant information and an excellent opportunity for fellowship, as shown in the photos below.
