Lecture: Why should you become a Rotarian?

The Rotary Club of Rio de Janeiro Maracanã received, on January 23, 2018, the visit of District Governor Henrique Sampaio Ferreira and Solange Lamêgo, District Governor Couple for the 2017-2018 term.

Governor Henrique Sampaio Ferreira delivered a lecture entitled “Why should you become a Rotarian?”. During the presentation, Governor Henrique shared a retrospective of his history as a Rotarian and highlighted characteristics that are part of the Rotarian profile, based on the interest in helping others.

District Governors Sebastião Porto and Joper Padrão actively participated in the discussion, responding to a question raised by Club President Luis Fadigas regarding their decisions to become Governors of District 4570.

At the end of the meeting, the club celebrated the birthday of President Luis Fadigas, along with other members who also celebrated their birthdays in the month of January. It was a very productive evening, marked by relevant information and strong fellowship.
