Service Project: McHappy Day with Rotary Club RJ Maracanã – 2017

Rotary Club of Rio de Janeiro - Maracanã had a strong presence at the McDonald’s restaurant on Maxwell Avenue, across from Guanabara supermarket, during McHappy Day, the largest campaign supporting the cure of childhood and adolescent cancer (August 26, 2017).

Club President Luis Fernando Fadigas, in partnership with Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, represented by its Vice President, donated an autographed Flamengo jersey. The item was auctioned in support of the Ronald McDonald Institute, contributing to the organization’s mission of providing care and support to children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment and their families.
